Second Grade Week 2 |
March 30 - April 3
Lesson 1
Read the directions below. This week's activities are all Cardio. This exercise video lasts 15 minutes. While you are exercising notice the changes in your body when you perform exercises that are Cardio.
Remember the more often you perform Cardio exercises the easier they will become. You will be able to exercise longer and harder. Safety
Wear sneakers and comfortable clothing. Make sure that you are in a clear space where you can jump and move your arms freely.
Tips to Modify the Exercises Only perform either the arm or the leg exercises if you are tired or unable to do both. Remove jumping actions to reduce intensity (make it easier). By the end of these lessons students should be able to: Perform various stretching, cardiovascular, and muscular endurance exercises. S1.E1 Engage actively in a moderate aerobic activity in response to instruction and practice.. S3.E2.2 Identifies physical activities that contribute to fitness. S3.E3.2b Practices skills with minimal assistance. S4.E1.2 |
