Read the directions below. Test your Cardio fitness. Can you jump for 5 minutes?
1. 5 Minute Challenge. Jump Rope for 5 minutes without taking a break. It's OK to make a mistake, just keep going. 2. Review forward and backward jump roping. 3. If you have mastered forward and backward jump roping challenge yourself with these tricks Jump Rope Skills #5, Jump Rope Skills #1 and Jump Rope Skills #4! Try performing the tricks without a jump rope first to get a feel for the pattern. Safety
Wear sneakers and comfortable clothing. Make sure that you exercise in a safe space with plenty of room to move. Follow your family home rules.
Tips to Modify the Exercises Turn the rope slower. Try jumping in a rocking pattern instead of two feet. Step over the rope instead of jumping. Use a heavier jump rope. By the end of these lessons students should be able to: Execute a single jump with self-turned rope. (S1.E27.Ka) Perform jumping and landing actions with balance. (S1.E3.K) Participate actively in moderate aerobic activity. S3.E2 |
